We do the Act 235 psychological exam on selected Saturdays and Sundays. The exam is administered by Bruce N. Eimer, Ph.D., ABPP, who is a PA licensed psychologist, assisted by his support staff. The next exam date is announced on this website and when you call our number. Our exam sessions begin promptly at 8:00AM. Plan to arrive by 8:00AM. Dr. Eimer’s fee for the psychological examination service is $200. INSURANCE IS NOT ACCEPTED.
You can reserve your seat by paying the full amount here with a credit card. We also accept walk-ins on a space available basis on the day of the exam. We only accept cash for walk-ins.

We have space for up to 25 applicants at the upcoming Act 235 examination session. To guarantee your spot for this exam session, you must reserve your seat for the psychological exam here. Walk-ins will only be admitted until we reach our limit of 25 people. Only people who are taking the psychology exam will be admitted to take the physical exam. The physical exam service is separate from Dr. Eimer who is the psychologist. If you have questions about the physical exam, you must call or email the physician. Dr. Eimer cannot respond to calls about the physical exam.

IMPORTANT: When you reserve your seat, we expect you to show up. If you don’t show up, you may attend a subsequent exam session. However, you will need to pay a rescheduling fee of $50 in cash on the subsequent session that you attend. Your exam registration is only valid for six months. Applicants who register here on the website will have their one-on-one psychological interview before people who walk in.

No Shows, No Refunds
When you reserve your seat for the Act 235 exam session, you are making an appointment to show up at 8:00 AM on the scheduled date. We have limited seats. If you NO SHOW, you have deprived someone else of a seat at the exam. YOU CANNOT CALL THE DAY BEFORE THE EXAM, OR AFTER THE EXAM AND EXPECT A REFUND.
There are no refunds for no shows. People pay in advance and reserve their seat online to guarantee a seat at the exam session. We also make seats available for drop-ins who pay cash at the session.
As with any doctor appointment, there is a reasonable 72-hour cancellation period, but you have to call no later than 72 hours before your appointment and give notice if you cannot attend. Then you can attend another session. There is a $50 administrative re-scheduling fee you must pay in cash if you come to a future exam session. Your exam registration is only valid for six months.
